Usage guide for Carbon Welcome to Carbon Pro |
|
The compositing engines used for Carbon Free, Carbon Pro, and MuxMan are all derived from a common
code base and therefore are very similar.
Carbon Pro removes the resolution and aspect ratio restrictions present in Carbon Free and MuxMan
and contains many advanced features.
The advanced features are still in the development stage, which ones will make it to the first
release is unknown at this time.
Among the features planned are:
- More pre-programmed transition patterns, including double slides and squeezes.
- Non-rectangular transitions.
- Transition creator (make your own library of transitions).
- Full EDL scripting (Carbon Free applies transitions individually making changes to transitions
between other transitions difficult).
- Composite-within-composite (which will allow, among other things, panning a composite as a whole)
- "Producer" mode which resembles a television control room operation, allowing up to 9 synchronized
sources to be manipulated.
- Image Deformation, including parallelogram and trapezoid
