Usage guide for Compositing with Carbon or MuxMan Using the Tote bag |
|
The Tote bag is similar to the familiar clipboard, but differs in a few important ways.
- The Tote bag classifies objects as video, audio, subpicture, and composite element.
Clearing the Tote bag of one type of object does not affect the other types.
- Objects can be added at any time, from any place, without replacing the existing objects.
The Tote bag is not cleared when a new project is loaded, therefore you may use it to move or copy
things from one project to another. The only time the tote bag is discarded is when the program
(Carbon or MuxMan) terminates.
Video objects include composites, and can be added or used from Carbon's Gallery Browser or
MuxMan's Timeline.
Audio and SubPicture objects exist only in MuxMan, and can be added or used from its Timeline.
Composite elements exist in the compositor, and are added or used from the composite editor.
This includes composited subpictures in MuxMan.
